A wholesale housewares company in New York City is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to manage and grow relationships with major big-box retail accounts. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and driving sales growth across national retail channels.

The ideal candidate has experience selling consumer products or housewares to major retailers and is skilled at managing key accounts, negotiating programs, and identifying new opportunities for growth.

• Develop and manage relationships with major big-box retailers and national accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's retail presence.
• Present product lines, seasonal assortments, and promotional programs to buyers.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, account development, negotiations, and ongoing account management.
• Prepare sales presentations, quotations, and pricing proposals.
• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful product launches and timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor customer inventory, sales performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for account growth.
• Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and product placement while maintaining company profitability.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and CRM updates.
