Job Description

An established community fitness and wellness center in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking friendly, reliable, and responsible Health Spa Attendants to join its team.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a peaceful, quiet, and low-stress environment while helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming spa facility.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable assisting members while overseeing spa amenities and performing light housekeeping responsibilities.

The facility features a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, private weight room, massage room, showers, and locker rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the health spa facility and ensure members have a comfortable and pleasant experience.

  • Monitor spa amenities, including the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, private weight room, massage room, showers, and locker rooms.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming spa environment.

  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize towels throughout the day.

  • Ensure an adequate supply of clean towels is available for spa members, fitness center users, and group exercise classes.

  • Assist members with basic questions and provide friendly customer service.

  • Operate the front desk computer system and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

  • Help maintain an orderly and professional welcome desk.

  • Monitor supplies and notify management when additional items are needed.

  • Follow facility procedures and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Perform additional light housekeeping and spa-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English required.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Comfortable learning and using CRM software (training provided).

  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

  • Friendly personality with strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Physically capable of bending, handling laundry, and folding towels.

  • Comfortable working in a spa and wellness environment.

  • Previous spa, fitness center, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus.

  • Willingness to maintain a clean and organized facility.
