Position Overview

A growing wholesale company in New York City is seeking a smart, organized, and highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who enjoys taking ownership of projects, staying organized, and working across multiple areas of the business.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and problem-solver who can manage projects from start to finish; dealing with products, China, supplier, art department, E commerce and sales team, coordinate with internal teams and outside partners, and ensure deadlines and priorities are consistently met. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to receive hands-on training in sales and business development and grow into a broader role within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to keep projects moving forward.
  • Track project timelines, approvals, orders, and outstanding action items.
  • Maintain organized records, spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation.
  • Follow up consistently with team members, vendors, and customers to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and take initiative to resolve them.
  • Assist with product development, orders, and other wholesale business operations.
  • Help prioritize daily tasks and ensure important projects remain on schedule.
  • Communicate project updates and provide regular status reports to management.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as the role develops and the business grows.
  • Learn the company's products, customers, and sales processes with the opportunity to receive training and transition into sales and business development responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong follow-up skills and a proactive approach to getting things done.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new systems, products, and processes quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Previous project management, operations, wholesale, sales, or administrative experience is a plus, but the right motivated candidate will be considered.
  • Must be eager to learn and interested in developing long-term business and sales skills.
