Basketball training company seeking full time social media manager/administrative assistant.
We run after school & after camp group programs for children ages 4-14 in gyms across NY & NJ. We also have a staff of twenty coaches that train children in private & small group training sessions at the children’s homes.

Full time remote position
Trainings take place Sunday-Friday, & Sat night in the winter

General working hours:
Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
Sunday 1-2 hours at your leisure preparing for the week

Remote Position:

  • The workday takes place at your location with communication with team members via phone
  • We meet in person once a week- notice is given

Daily Administrative Tasks Include:

  1. Billing/Creating invoices
  2. Coordinating new programs & signups
  3. Filtering/previewing new coaches. Collect & process new hire paperwork
  4. Scheduling coaches for daily sessions
  5. Ordering uniforms/equipment
  6. Candidate must be detail oriented & highly organized, must be able to respond to texts/emails from other team members, coaches, & parents in a timely fashionOur business is primarily based around training schedules. Schedules are constantly being updated.
  7. Helping with new projects as they arise

Daily Social Media Tasks Include:

  1. Managing/Overseeing all social media platforms
  2. Asking coaches daily for recaps & content if they haven’t sent
  3. Saving all content from coaches/staff daily
  4. Sifting through content that you receive & send to parents in group chats
  5. Content Creation
  • Editing/posting non professional content from REP coaching staff
  • Adding captions to videos where there is talking
  • Posting at optimal times to catch engagement
  • Keeping track of content posting schedule, past posts, & planning future posts
  1. Posting stories on Instagram
  2. Updating saved stories on Instagram
  3. Posting TikToks
  4. Suggesting of new ideas/ways to grow

Skills Needed:

  1. Basic knowledge of Excel & Word
  2. Light Bookkeeping skills
  3. Must have excellent oral & written communication skills
  4. Social Media Platform Knowledge: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc…
