Swim Company in NYC seeking a full-time Sales Assistant/Intern.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Intern to assist our sales team with day-to-day operations in the wholesale business. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in the fashion industry, allowing you to learn the ins and outs of wholesale sales, order processing, sample management, and customer relations.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the sales team with order entry and processing of wholesale transactions.

Assist in managing relationships with buyers, providing exceptional customer service and timely follow-ups.

Coordinate and track sample requests, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.

Maintain and update the sales database, including ATS (Available to Sell) inventory reports and order statuses.

Help with product cataloging and order preparation for upcoming sales and events.

Assist in tracking and analyzing sales data, using Excel to create reports and presentations.

Provide administrative support for meetings, including note-taking and organizing key materials.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics and marketing, to ensure smooth sales operations.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Interest in fashion, particularly in wholesale sales and business operations.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Experience or familiarity with wholesale processes or sales operations.

Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
