Clothing manufacturer/importer in Manhattan, with more than 25 years in the industry is seeking candidates to fill the role of TOP SALESMAN. 
This is not a role for an entry-level; only top-earners should apply. 

The Opportunity:

This is a pivotal role offering unparalleled growth potential within our organization. As our top Salesman for the Kids/Girls Jeans division, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass sales targets within assigned off-price and premium department store accounts.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at all levels within these retailers.
• Presenting our seasonal collections with passion and expertise, highlighting product features, benefits, and market trends.
• Negotiating favorable terms and ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimize sales strategies.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams, including design, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Representing our brand with professionalism and integrity at all times.

What You Bring to the Table:

To excel in this high-impact role, you will possess:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in wholesale sales within the apparel industry, specifically within the kids/girls jeans market IS A MUST!!
• A strong and established network of contacts within off-price retailers and premium department stores IS A MUST!!
• A demonstrable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret sales data and market insights.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
• A genuine passion for the fashion industry and a keen understanding of current trends in the kids/girls jeans/apparel market.
• Proficiency in [mention any relevant software/tools, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems].
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend trade shows.
