Non profit organization seeks an intake specialist to join their career division.
Are you a people person with a passion for helping others succeed? Our Career Division is looking for a warm, compassionate, and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for job seekers on their journey to finding meaningful employment.
In this role, you'll provide a welcoming and supportive experience, helping individuals feel at ease while identifying their strengths, skills, and career goals. You'll assess their needs and guide them to the right job developer who will help match them with the best job opportunities.
What You’ll Do:

Meet with job seekers to understand their skills, experience, and career aspirations.

Provide encouragement and guidance to help them feel confident in their job search.

Direct candidates to the appropriate job developer based on their background and goals.

Maintain clear and accurate records to ensure a smooth transition through the job placement process.

Manage and update the CRM database to track job seekers’ progress and ensure efficient follow-ups.
What We’re Looking For:

A warm and approachable personality with strong listening skills.

Ability to put people at ease and build trust quickly.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is a must.

Experience managing a CRM database is highly preferred.

Relevant business experience is required to understand the job market and trending industries.

College degree preferred.
