Job Description:
• Serve as a liaison between sales, customer service, design, sourcing, and quality control teams, ensuring smooth progress for all sales and production orders.
• Initiate and manage entry of production purchase orders, coordinating all details with suppliers by country and brand, and monitor schedules for on-time delivery, with a keen understanding of our retail partners needs.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and sourcing teams to develop monthly line development plans, strategize target wholesale prices, and achieve relevant price points.
• Organize and lead weekly cross functional meetings with management to review production status, address outstanding issues, and proactively resolve delays or quality concerns
• Oversee WIP (work-in-progress) tracking, including incoming container schedules, ensuring timely delivery by monitoring all production POs and cross-referencing open PO reports within two weeks of X-factory dates.
• Ensure the tracking of PP , and TOP (top of production) samples against design specs and bulk swatches, are completed timely and on calendar, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with QC to address quality issues, communicating updates to sales and ensuring all changes are reflected in the system
• Manage sample requests from buyers and maintain organized sample rooms. Place and monitor sales sample requests for times receipt.
• Gain awareness of key customer floor-ready requirements and manage the reconciliation of past ETD (estimated time of delivery) reports.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in apparel production, planning, sourcing, or merchandising
• Education in Apparel Production, planning, merchandising, logistics or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PLM software; experience with Simparel/Extena is preferred
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills, with experience managing overseas factories and working across time zones
• Knowledge of fabric and garment construction, as well as technical expertise in tracking production and resolving issues across multiple countries.
