We are seeking a highly motivated Intake Specialist with a legal background and sales experience to be the first point of contact for prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide potential clients toward the right legal solutions while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for potential clients, handling initial inquiries via phone, email, and online forms.
Conduct comprehensive intake interviews to assess the client’s legal needs and determine case viability.
Educate prospective clients on the firm’s services, legal processes, and retainer agreements.
Utilize sales techniques to convert leads into retained clients, emphasizing the firm’s value and expertise.
Collaborate with attorneys to ensure accurate case evaluation and smooth client onboarding.
Maintain a CRM system to track leads, follow-ups, and conversions.

Qualifications
? Legal Background: Experience working in a law firm, preferably in family/matrimonial law, paralegal work, or legal intake.
? Sales Experience: Proven ability to convert leads into clients, experience in legal sales, client relations, or consultative selling.
? Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build trust with potential clients while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
? Knowledge of Family Law: Understanding of divorce, custody, and other matrimonial law matters in New York.
? Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM systems, legal intake software, and Microsoft Office.
? Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple leads.
? NYC-Based: Must be located in the New York City area and available for in-person client meetings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in client intake, legal marketing, or law firm sales.
Bilingual candidates (Spanish, Mandarin, or other languages) are a plus.
Experience with MyCase, or other legal practice management software
